About the Role

Job Summary: This position will work collaboratively with the Project Coordinator in Haiti to design, execute and evaluate effective prevention and intervention activities. Major activities of the job may include individual and group counseling, supervision, and crisis intervention. To succeed in this role, you should have excellent time management and communication skills, as you will collaborate with the community and internal team to deliver results on deadlines. Job Responsibilities: Provide detailed updates about projects to the Project Coordinator. Create a protocol for treating violence and abuse. Create template documents for the mental health team. Design activities to prevent, identify and treat violence and abuse. Diagnose and treat emotional, mental, and behavioral disorders. Assess patients and provide recommendations for treatments. Use literature, research, and translate complex concepts and use them to treat patients. Conduct case management tasks. Conduct administrative tasks. Create pedagogical material. Assists in the completion of education evaluations. Assists in the completion of unique education evaluations. Uses a wide variety of assessment techniques to evaluate community mental health. Maintain records in an accurate and confidential manner consistent with applicable rules. Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment, and information. Undertake project tasks as required.

Requirements

Education: Undergraduate, graduate, and Ph.D. Students; psychologist studies are preferred.

Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills

Computer Skills: Intermediate

Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.

Competency in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Proficiency in online Workspace, especially Google Drive.

Knowledge of file management, transcription, and other administrative procedures.

Ability to work on tight deadlines.

Design tools are a plus: Canva, Photoshop, Infogram.

Language:  English is required. Haitian Creole and French are a plus.
