The Scholarship Project
Empowering Girls in Haiti Through Education and Sustainability
Education changes everything. In Haiti, where access to learning remains limited, the Womenful Voice Scholarship Program offers life-changing opportunities for girls and young students from low-income families, slave children (Rastavek) and those raised in single-parent households. We provide tuition support, uniforms so they can stay in school, access essential learning materials, and build confidence for a better future.
But our program goes beyond the classroom. Each student also contributes to environmental sustainability efforts by planting and caring for trees in their community. This unique model links education with environmental action, fostering responsibility, leadership, and long-term stewardship while helping build a stronger, greener Haiti.
Support the Scholarship Program today and be part of a movement that empowers, educates, and restores.
Education Scholarships for Girls
The Scholarship Program provides education scholarships for girls in Haiti, covering tuition, uniforms, textbooks, and essential learning materials. This financial support reduces the burden on families and ensures continuous access to primary and secondary education.

Benefits of the Scholarship Program
Empowering Girls Through Education
- Education is one of the most effective tools for empowerment. Through the Scholarship Program, students develop confidence, independence, and motivation. Girls are supported to stay in school, complete their studies, and actively plan for their future.
- Long-Term Impact on Communities Investing in education creates long-term impact for individuals, families, and communities in Haiti. The Scholarship Program helps break cycles of poverty by increasing school retention, improving learning outcomes, and expanding future opportunities for young people.
- Aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals The Scholarship Program directly supports SDG 4: Quality Education. By increasing access to education for vulnerable children in Haiti, the program contributes to inclusive, equitable, and sustainable development goals.
Through the Scholarship Program, we aim to:
- Promote environmental consciousness through hands-on reforestation
- Provide educational support for girls and young students in Haiti.
- Offer three categories of scholarships for those facing financial challenges.

Mentorship Project
What Our Scholarship Recipients Receive — A four-year mentorship journey.
When a young woman receives a scholarship from Womenful Voice, she also enters a structured, four-year mentorship program designed to build her confidence, career readiness, and life skills, with special emphasis on technology literacy for underserved communities in Haiti.
Our mentorship program with our scholarship recipient begins as soon as they enter grade freshman through senior, and she meets regularly with mentors and program coordinators. She learns how to use a laptop, write a professional email, explore career paths, prepare for college or vocational training, and build a real plan for her future.
By the end of four years, she has a diploma and a roadmap.
| Year | Focus | What She Accomplishes |
|---|---|---|
| Year 1 (Foundations) | Core skills & technology | Sets up a digital calendar, learns email etiquette, and creates a digital vision board for her future career. |
| Year 2 (Professional World) | Workplace & communication | Explores different careers, builds a resume, practices professional communication, and creates a career plan. |
| Year 3 (Life Planning) | College & career preparation | Researches educational paths (university, vocational, certifications), builds a 5‑year plan for career and education. |
| Year 4 (Execution & Transition) | Applications & next steps | Completes college and scholarship applications, writes personal statements, and prepares for life after high school (including visas or relocation if needed). |
